In the early 1990's a couple of thousand man hours was invested in the design, material selection, manufacturing techniques and testing of the Hide Away Safe.

In 1993 after nearly 3 years of research and development the Australia designed and manufactured Hide Away Safe became available for sale.

The Hide Away Safe can be installed in a Residential Home, Apartment, Office, Factory, Caravan, Motor Home and any other type of Vehicle with simply DIY installation.

The Hide Away Safe Consists Of Four Parts

1 - Docking Station

Docking Station that is easily installed to almost any flat surface and at any angle, even upside down, using screws, bolts or ACRYLIC (water based) glue into which the Safe Box slides in and locks with the supplied High Security Abloy Key, Abloy Classic or Abloy PROTEC. Once locked the Safe Box conceals all fastenings used eg. screws or bolts.

2 - Safe Box

The lid on the Safe Box locks with the supplied High Security Abloy Key, Abloy Classic or Abloy PROTEC. This allows the Safe Box to be taken from one location to another without the contents being exposed eg. slide the Safe Box out of one Docking Station then lock the lid.

Then take the Safe Box to another previously installed Docking Station and slide it in and lock it with the supplied High Security Abloy Key, Abloy Classic or Abloy PROTEC.

Wherever a Docking Station has been installed,

a Safe Box can be slid in and locked with the

supplied Abloy Classic or Abloy PROTEC Key.

3 - Customised Heavy Duty Cam

Fitted to the back of the Abloy Classic or Abloy PROTEC Lock, inside the mk2 Safe Box, is a customised heavy duty cam. When the Safe Box Lid is closed and the High Security Abloy Key is turned 180 degrees the cam secures the lid to the Safe Box through a specially designed slot in the lid.

NB: The mk3 - Laptop Safe use the same locking system but we use a double cam assembly.

4 - Abloy Lock

Your choice of two High Security Abloy Locks.

Abloy Classic 6mm Left Hand Security Lock, includes a customised heavy duty cam and two super strong Nickel Silver Abloy Classic Keys. Abloy PROTEC (Ultra) High Security Lock, includes a customised heavy duty cam and two super strong Nickel Silver Abloy PROTEC Keys. It has a possible 1.97 billion different key combinations, it cannot be drilled and is mechanically impossible to pick. It is the World’s First Un-Pickable Lock. How To Secure The Safe Box To The Docking Station

Slide the Safe Box part way into the Docking Station and turn the High Security Abloy Key 180 degrees to remove the cam from the Safe Box Lid then, push the Safe Box all the way into the Docking Station and turn the High Security Abloy Key 180 degrees in the opposite direction to lock the Safe Box Lid.

By turning the High Security Abloy Key the cam goes through the Safe Box Lid and the slot in the Docking Station thus securing the Safe Box to the Docking Station. This conceals all the screws or bolts used to install the Docking Station making them inaccessible.

Hide Away Safe can be installed / hidden

in places a thief would not expect to look.
