Australian Manufacturer Direct Special Offer
Monday June 26, 2017 between 9.30am to 9.30pm
the special offer is further down this page.
You can buy the same Relocatable, High Security, Light-Weight Hide Away Safe manufactured from virtually indestructible Lexan Polycarbonate that Police, Security companies, Government and Military have purchased from us, the Australian manufacturer, for your personal security in your Home, Work Place, Vehicle, Caravan to name a few places.
It cannot be emphasized enough just how crucial it is to secure your valuable possessions in your Vehicle when you have to leave them unattended just as it is in your Residential Home, Office, Factory, Caravan or Motor Home.
Home handyman should
be able to install a
Vehicle Fixing Kit
with tools he or she already owns.
Installing a Vehicle Fixing Kit in your Vehicle allows the Hide Away Safe to be secured in the Vehicle. Once the Vehicle Fixing Kit is installed bolt the Docking Station to it. Next slide the Hide Away Safe in and lock it with the supplied High Security Abloy Key, see pictures below.
Vehicle Fixing Kits are available in two styles for both the mk2 Hide Away Safe (smaller) and mk3 Hide Away Safe (larger).
Depending on the Vehicle type and where in the Vehicle the Vehicle Fixing Kit will be installed depends on which of the two styles can be used.
Please Note: Not all vehicles can have a Vehicle Fixing Kit installed in it but that does not matter because we have another High Security solution we designed for the under-cover Police in 1996 to secure the Hide Away Safe in all vehicles named Shroud and Cable.
Steel Vehicle Fixing Kit is manufactured from 3mm thick Steel and powder coated black. The vertical backing plate, as you can see in the following picture, is fitted with m5x8mm high tensile clinch studs with shake proof washers and high tensile nuts to match the existing fixing holes in the Hide Away Safe Docking Station.
The clinch studs are attached to the steel backing plate by pressing them through the Steel under high pressure, making the back of the steel backing plate smooth.
The advantage of this manufacturing technique is:
Having no nuts on the outside of the steel backing plate ensures if a thief does break into a Vehicle fitted with a Vehicle Fixing Kit there are no nuts they can undo to remove the Hide Away Safe.
Depending on the Vehicle make, model, year and type depends where the Vehicle Fixing Kit is installed eg.
We have Vehicle Fixing Kits that are vertical, horizontal, on 30 and 45 degree angles.
If one of our numerous Vehicle Fixing Kits cannot be installed in your Vehicle we will custom design one for you FREE OF CHARGE.
When a Hide Away Safe needs to be secured:
We use a piece of 18mm thick Marine Ply.
Depending on the Vehicle make, model, year and type we have a customized Marine Ply Vehicle Fixing Kit for each. If one of our many versions cannot be installed in your Vehicle we will custom design one for you FREE OF CHARGE.
